The Brands Acquisition Associate is the “quarterback “ of the customer relationship, and we are looking for superstars to grow our team. We are seeking an experienced, quota carrying sales performer who is looking to focus their skills to drive the effective use of technology for supply chain digitalization. If you have a passion for technology and an interest in how it can facilitate positive digital change, combined with large organization/enterprise technology sales experience, we want to talk with you.


Responsibilities:

  1. Research and understand local retail market ecosystem and business environment to identify and cultivate high potential seller partner relationships. 
  2. Capture new business opportunities (i.e. growth of relevant seller/SKU base) and take ownership in driving execution through to completion, including business terms, contract negotiation, user training and onboarding process.
  3. Channel user feedback regularly & work with related teams / business units (including but not limited to Operations, Finance, Tech, Marketing & Content) to improve existing SOPs and overall user experience on the Dropee platform.  
  4. Manage lead qualification and conversion from interested prospects.
  5. Aggressively prospect and generate new relationships within the assigned accounts.
  6. Channel user feedback regularly & work with related teams / business units (including but not limited to Operations, Finance, Tech, Marketing & Content) to improve existing SOPs and overall user experience on the Dropee platform. 



Qualifications:

  1. 2-3 years working experience, preferably with business development or sales exposure in eCommerce / logistics / payments / retail trade industry.
  2. Entrepreneurial attitude & a willingness to learn, un-learn, and re-learn. 
  3. Keep up-to-date on industry developments & trends; be able to apply logical thinking in analyzing problems and proposing corresponding solutions.
  4. Fluency in English plus an additional language (i.e. either Malay / Mandarin / Cantonese language skills) are a must-have.
