Bulgarien er også kendt for ikonmaleri. Christo Javasjev er en af de mest kendte nulevende bulgarske kunstnere, som har skabt et internationalt omdømme med sine mange fantastiske værker.

Bulgarien er også kendt for sine mange festområder, som mange tusinde turister besøger hvert eneste år. Der er specielt mange danskere, der rejser til Bulgarien for at opleve det intense byliv.
