Must haves: • Joy in working with (and talking to) people • Passion for facilitating workshops and personal growth • Good understanding of personal and team development • Open mind and curiosity for new topics Nice to haves: • Experience with technical aspects of managing an online platform • Experience with personal and team development in agile teams • Knowledge of the startup community in Helsinki We don’t need you to be an expert on the above mentioned topics, but we trust that you are aware of trends and that you are happy to invest time of your internship to learn by doing and researching in order to improve. You can learn about different aspects of talent resource management in the startup environment and test your training and facilitation skills. So you will have the opportunity to have your voice heard and actively shape what happens at The Shortcut. Duration of the internship: The internship is a ideally four to six month full-time position because we want to allow you time to grow into creating something that is a true takeaway after it is done. The kind of stuff you’d be up to: The Talent Intern will contribute to personal development and the creation of employment opportunities for our awesome talents in The Shortcut community. 1. Facilitating Workshops for the Catalyst Programme • Plan and facilitate employability trainings • Asses startups’ talent needs • Help build and maintain a Talent Matching Platform 2. Internal Team and Personal Development • Support personal development of staff, interns and volunteers • Enhance internal team development and processes at The Shortcut For students this internship can be completed for credit if arranged in advance with your university.
